Maryland Casinos Generate $147.9 Million in Gaming Revenue During January ’26

Casinos contribute $63.9 million to the state

(Baltimore) — Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $147,877,520 in revenue from slot machines and table games during January 2026. With a winter storm making travel difficult for several days in late January, the statewide total was a decrease of $3,918,140, or 2.6%, compared to January 2025.

Casino gaming contributions to the state during January 2026 totaled $63,932,961, an increase of $281,927, or 0.4%, compared to January 2025. The January 2026 contributions included $46,101,513 to the Education Trust Fund, an increase of $17,663, or 0.2%, compared to January 2025.

Through the first seven months of Fiscal Year 2026 (July 2025 through January 2026), casino gaming revenue is $1,115,947,377, down 1.9% compared to the same period in FY2025; and contributions to the state are $479,522,250, down 1.2% year-over-year.

In addition to the Education Trust Fund, casino gaming revenues support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.

Maryland’s six privately owned casinos offer both slot machines and table games: MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County; Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County; Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City; Ocean Downs Casino in Worcester County; Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County; and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County.

The gaming revenue totals for January 2026 were as follows:

MGM National Harbor (2,285 slot machines, 214 table games)
$61,846,263 in January 2026, a decrease of $5,737,681 (-8.5%) from January 2025

Live! Casino & Hotel (3,732 slot machines, 179 table games)
$56,358,457 in January 2026, an increase of $1,214,360 (2.2%) from January 2025

Horseshoe Casino (1,400 slot machines, 115 table games)
$12,382,295 in January 2026, a decrease of $1,044,589 (-7.8%) from January 2025

Hollywood Casino (646 slot machines, 18 table games)
$6,870,825 in January 2026, an increase of $250,961 (3.8%) from January 2025

Ocean Downs Casino (900 slot machines, 18 table games)
$6,467,621 in January 2026, an increase of $756,073 (13.2%) from January 2025

Rocky Gap Casino (628 slot machines, 12 table games)
$3,952,059 in January 2026, an increase of $642,736 (19.4%) from January 2025
