MARCH 2026 SPORTS WAGERING DATA (Excel download)
(Baltimore) — Maryland’s sports wagering market generated $8,803,180 in contributions to the state during March 2026. Through the first nine months of Fiscal Year 2026 (July 2025 through March 2026), sports wagering has returned a total of $105,655,380 to the state.
Sports bettors in Maryland wagered $604,713,646 during March and won back $541,993,893 in prizes. Sportsbook operators held 10.4% of the handle.
Of the $8.8 million in state contributions during March, $6.6 million went to public education programs supported by the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund. Retail sports wagering operators contribute 15% of their taxable proceeds to the Blueprint Fund. Mobile sports wagering operators contribute 15% of their taxable proceeds to the Blueprint Fund and 5% to the state’s General Fund. In March, the combined retail and mobile contribution to the Blueprint Fund was $6,628,169, while an additional $2,175,011 in mobile proceeds went to the General Fund.
