The Maryland Lottery today announced April 2011 revenue numbers for the state’s two casinos — Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County and the Casino at Ocean Downs in Worcester County. April’s statewide revenue totaled $13,560,746.63, bringing the cumulative fiscal year total for both facilities to $77,149,863.02.
Hollywood Casino Perryville generated $10,052,057.15 in April, bringing fiscal year-to-date revenue to $64,221,890.67 for the facility. April’s gross gaming revenue per machine per day was $223.38, and the casino is averaging $196.40 in daily per machine gaming revenue since opening on September 27, 2010. Casino at Ocean Downs generated $3,508,689.48 in April, bringing fiscal year-to-date revenue to $12,927,972.35. The gross gaming revenue per machine per day is $155.94, and the daily per machine gaming revenue average since Casino at Ocean Downs opened on January 4, 2011 is $147.33.
