Maryland Casinos Generate $169.9 Million in Gaming Revenue During May ’26

MAY 2026 CASINO REVENUE DATA

(Baltimore) — Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $169,989,792 in revenue from slot machines and table games during May 2026. The statewide total was a decrease of $6,457,287, or 3.7%, compared to May 2025.

Casino gaming contributions to the state during May 2026 totaled $75,140,680, a decrease of 1.3% compared to May 2025. The May 2026 contributions included $54,117,740 to the Education Trust Fund, a decrease of 1.4%, compared to May 2025.

Through the first 11 months of Fiscal Year 2026 (July 2025 through May 2026), casino gaming revenue is $1,774,696,543, down 1.6% compared to the same period in FY2025; and contributions to the state are $763,127,470, down 1.1% year-over-year.

In addition to the Education Trust Fund, casino gaming revenues support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.

Maryland’s six privately owned casinos offer both slot machines and table games: MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County; Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County; Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City; Ocean Downs Casino in Worcester County; Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County; and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County.

The gaming revenue totals for May 2026 were as follows:

MGM National Harbor (2,249 slot machines, 214 table games)
$69,840,287 in May 2026, a decrease of $5,531,941 (-7.3%) from May 2025

Live! Casino & Hotel (3,591 slot machines, 181 table games)
$62,155,202 in May 2026, a decrease of $1,697,055 (-2.7%) from May 2025

Horseshoe Casino (1,350 slot machines, 111 table games)
$15,577,554 in May 2026, an increase of $354,109 (2.3%) from May 2025

Ocean Downs Casino (900 slot machines, 17 table games)
$9,409,924 in May 2026, an increase of $643,746 (7.3%) from May 2025

Hollywood Casino (680 slot machines, 18 table games)
$7,989,926 in May 2026, a decrease of $313,729 (-3.8%) from May 2025

Rocky Gap Casino (630 slot machines, 12 table games)
$5,016,900 in May 2026, an increase of $87,582 (1.8%) from May 2025
