The Maryland Lottery today announced revenue numbers for the state’s two casinos — Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County and the Casino at Ocean Downs in Worcester County. April’s statewide revenue totaled $14,536,795.77.
Hollywood Casino Perryville generated $10,704,892.12 in April, and its gross gaming revenue per machine per day was $237.89 for the month. In a year-to-year comparison, Hollywood Casino’s April 2012 revenue increased by $652,834.97 over April 2011 or 6.5%. The Casino at Ocean Downs generated $3,831,903.65 in April, and its gross gaming revenue per machine per day was $159.66. The Casino at Ocean Downs’ April 2012 revenue increased by $323,214.17, or 9.2%, over April 2011. A detailed breakdown of April 2012’s fund disbursement, fiscal year-to-date totals for the individual casinos and the combined state total are as follows:
