APRIL 2025 CASINO REVENUE DATA
Casinos contribute $70.6 million to the state
(Baltimore) — Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $162,640,960 in revenue from slot machines and table games during April 2025. The total was down $509,714 (-0.3%) from April 2024.
Casino gaming contributions to the state during April 2025 totaled $70,574,438, an increase of $775,366 (1.1%) compared to April 2024. The April 2025 contributions included $50,904,734 to the Education Trust Fund, an increase of $547,732 (1.1%) compared to April 2024.
Casino gaming revenues also support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.
Maryland’s six privately owned casinos offer both slot machines and table games: MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County; Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County; Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City; Ocean Downs Casino in Worcester County; Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County; and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County.
The gaming revenue totals for April 2025 were as follows:
MGM National Harbor (2,239 slot machines, 211 table games)
$68,602,083 in April 2025, an increase of $515,878 (0.8%) from April 2024
Live! Casino & Hotel (3,861 slot machines, 179 table games)
$58,946,669 in April 2025, a decrease of $1,920,762 (-3.2%) from April 2024
Horseshoe Casino (1,337 slot machines, 115 table games)
$15,579,394 in April 2025, an increase of $904,877 (6.2%) from April 2024
Hollywood Casino (723 slot machines, 23 table games)
$7,878,993 in April 2025, a decrease of $51,074 (-0.6%) from April 2024
Ocean Downs Casino (892 slot machines, 19 table games)
$7,536,307 in April 2025, an increase of $215,721 (2.9%) from April 2024
Rocky Gap Casino (630 slot machines, 16 table games)
$4,097,513 in April 2025, a decrease of $174,356 (-4.1%) from April 2024
