Maryland Casinos Generate $162.1 Million in Gaming Revenue During October ’25

Casinos contribute $69.6 million to the state

(Baltimore) — Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $162,056,573 in revenue from slot machines and table games during October 2025. The statewide total was an increase of $1,532,251 (1.0%) compared to October 2024.

Casino gaming contributions to the state during October 2025 totaled $69,583,601, an increase of $1,021,295 (1.5%) compared to October 2024. The October 2025 contributions included $50,158,177 to the Education Trust Fund, an increase of $697,278 (1.4%) compared to October 2024.

Through the first four months of Fiscal Year 2026 (July 1 through October 31), casino gaming revenue is $649,524,745, down 2.1% compared to the same period in FY2025; and contributions to the state are $279,143,481, down 1.4% year-over-year.

In addition to the Education Trust Fund, casino gaming revenues support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.

Maryland’s six privately owned casinos offer both slot machines and table games: MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County; Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County; Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City; Ocean Downs Casino in Worcester County; Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County; and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County.

The gaming revenue totals for October 2025 were as follows:

MGM National Harbor (2,253 slot machines, 214 table games)
$67,899,520 in October 2025, a decrease of $1,289,102 (-1.9%) from October 2024

Live! Casino & Hotel (3,854 slot machines, 179 table games)
$59,650,124 in October 2025, an increase of $986,219 (1.7%) from October 2024

Horseshoe Casino (1,365 slot machines, 115 table games)
$15,510,043 in October 2025, an increase of $1,751,502 (12.7%) from October 2024

Ocean Downs Casino (899 slot machines, 18 table games)
$8,147,965 in October 2025, an increase of $811,381 (11.1%) from October 2024

Hollywood Casino (654 slot machines, 15 table games)
$6,445,680 in October 2025, a decrease of $756,911 (-10.5%) from October 2024

Rocky Gap Casino (630 slot machines, 12 table games)
$4,403,242 in October 2025, an increase of $29,162 (0.7%) from October 2024
